Lahore: On the special invitation of Khateeb Jamia Mosque Dar-ul-Islam Hafiz Fida ur Rehman, Albayrak Waste Management conducted a mosque awareness drive in Bagh-i-Jinnah on Friday. The main aim of the drive was to seek the public cooperation for ensuring proper waste management and to sensitize the worshippers about cleanliness.
Khateeb Jamia mosque in his Friday sermon, underlined the importance of cleanliness and said that every citizen needs to play individual role in keeping their environment litter free.
Later, Albayrak team distributed awareness literature among the citizens. The team requested the general public to throw garbage in the waste bins only. At the end of the drive, an awareness walk was also arranged in which Albayrak officials, mosque administration and citizens participated.
