Albayrak Waste Management Rawalpindi wing regularly arranges different advocacy campaigns to stay in touch with citizens and civil society members. The Communications Team in Rawalpindi visits inner street areas and market places to brief public there. Free waste bags are distributed among citizens to promote the proper disposal of waste. One such campaign focused on Ganjmandi Bazar was carried out with three pronged strategy: to spread awareness among shopkeepers, to win their participation in maintaining cleanliness and to bring behavioral change in people. GM Communications Mr Kenan Gulen himself participated in the activity and distributed literature and waste bags among the shopkeepers.
