Lahore: Under the ongoing Clean & Green campaign, Albayrak Waste Management carried out a cleanliness awareness drive in Gulberg on Friday. The one-day drive aimed to highlight the importance of cleanliness and plantation and to seek public cooperation in making the campaign a success.
An awareness camp was established near Mini Market Roundabout where Albayrak team along with sanitary workforce distributed awareness brochures among the residents, shopkeepers, motorbike riders and pedestrians. They were requested to place their garbage in the waste bags and to not to throw it openly on the streets.
Speaking on the occasion, Senior Manager Operations Albayrak Mahmut Oztunc said that it was core responsibility of every individual to maintain cleanliness and to ensure green surroundings. With the public support and cooperation, the goal of Clean Lahore could be achieved, he added.
