Albayrak arranges a football match and plantation drive to mark the spring celebrations

Albayrak Waste Management arranged a one-day spring festival at China Scheme Sports Complex on Wednesday. A football match between China Scheme Football Club and Cousins-11 was played at the complex. The students from Government College University also joined the festival. A symbolic waste picking activity was arranged in which football players picked the waste and disposed of in waste bags. The event aimed to promote recreational activities and games in the streets and local grounds in a clean and healthy environment.
A plantation drive was also held in which Senior Manager Operations Albayrak Fatih Kerici, Manager Communications Albayrak Naeema Saeed, Assistant Professor GCU Mujtaba Baqar and football players planted saplings. Later, the participants of the event also took part in wall painting activity under theme of “Clean & Green Pakistan”. Awareness brochures were also distributed among the participants at Albayrak camp with a request to keep their environment clean.
Senior Manager Operations Albayrak presented trophy and medals to the winning team and also distributed souvenirs among the runner up team members.
